'this has nothing to do with behavior. The teacher gave two students a cookie for helping clean up from our Easter party. The children had snacks all day. Nothing was withheld from any child in the classroom. She will no longer do this.

She was never given the opportunity to defend herself and because of DHS finding her guilty I no longer have a level 10 master teacher she resigned said she was fond guilty without being able to defend herself.

We will have two people at the van to check the children in/out. One will call the name of the child while the other will check the child's name off the list. One will check the van before it is parked and upon parking the van driver will walk the van. Also, we will no longer allow parents to come to the cans to pick up their child/children. They must pick them up in the lobby after they have been checked in and the vans have been checked.

We have advised all teachers if they have a child that is not in attendance after the van run to call up front to make sure they were not on the can that day. If the front office knows a child left with a parent before checking into their classroom, we will notify the teacher. The front desk will also check the children in on their front attendance.
