Non Compliance Observed A background check request has not been submitted for a personnel who began employment on 3/14/23; this person is working in a classroom with children today as the only staff present. Once this is complete, owner states that she will submit for the director's credential. Owner states that there is also a staff she is looking into hiring that meets director qualifications. Ratios
Non Compliance Observed Ratios were not met for three classrooms due to no personnel being present in the classrooms, as follows - Infants and 1-year old classroom had five children present (two infants) with no staff in the classroom; the 2-yr-old classroom had six children present with no staff in the classroom; the 3-yr-old and older classroom had six children present with no staff in the classroom. Staff were informed that teaching personnel must remain in the classrooms at all times to maintain ratios. Owner will discuss ratio requirements with staff. Staff/child ratios will be maintained in the program at all times Regulation Description Ratios. Ratios are the number of teaching personnel required to be physically present with a child or group of children, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340 Appendix GG - Ratios and Group Sizes.
