Central detection and alarm system for smoke and carbon monoxide
Non Compliance Observed Licensing observed central detection system flashing with an orange light. The alarm panel read SLC15:Dirty, Monsters Inc Smoke Zone 1, Trouble 1. Licensing called Automatic Fire Control and asked what the code meant. Dispatch asked a techinican and stated that it was likely to be a dirty smoke detector. Program stated that it has been flashing and have silenced the alarm. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Plan to Correct Staff in charge will call Automatic Fire Control to schedule an appointment to inspect. Program will place a regular smoke detector in the room till panel is fully functional. In the future will maintain requirements. Supervision
Non Compliance Observed (Serious) Licensing viewed personnel place a 2 year child on the changing table and walked away and left child unattended. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Plan to Correct Licensing informed staff immediately not to leave a child unattended. Staff in charge will remind personnel about supervision, have new training over safety and supervision. In the future the program will maintain requirements. Regulation Description Supervision. Supervision is the function of observing, overseeing, and guiding a child or group of children, including an awareness of, and responsibility for, the ongoing activity of each child, and being near enough to intervene when needed.
