Typed for director. Will not utilize highchairs for a calming resource. Program was using highchairs as a calming resource allowing children to remain in care while parents work. Will use other resources and training in the classroom in regards to challenging behavior. Will ensure appropriate discipline and behavior guidance is followed at all times.

Regulation Description

340:110-3-288(c) - Inappropriate discipline. Personnel are prohibited from using or threatening to use inappropriate discipline.

Typed for director. Program has moved to different location on 4/1/25. Children are now separated into 2 different classrooms. Separating children allows for a better calming and manageable environment. Will ensure proper supervision of children at all times.

Regulation Description

340:110-3-287(a) - Supervision. Supervision is the function of observing, overseeing, and guiding a child or group of children, including an awareness of, and responsibility for, the ongoing activity of each child, and being near enough to intervene when needed. The program is required to maintain supervision at all times.
