Staff were instructed that children must never be left unattended classroom. Coverage was arranged so that a qualified staff member remains in the classroom at all times when another staff needs to leave for any reason. Refrigerator is in the infant classroom. Staff will call for coverage before leaving a classroom.

The program will maintain an adequate supply of age and size appropriate car seats and booster seats each child has an appropriate care seat / booster. All seatbelts are functioning and properly fastened. Transportation policies have been update to clearly show that children must be properly restrained at all times when in a vehicle.

340:110-3-305(g)(3) - Children remain properly secured in child passenger restraint system, such as a car or booster seat or an individual seat belt complying with applicable state laws, unless the vehicle is exempt, per (5) of this subsection. Children do not share a seat belt.

To ensure accurate documentation of children’s attendance and transportation, the following procedures will be implemented: Consistent Sign-In/Out Procedures: Staff will verify that each child is signed in and out on the daily attendance sheet at the same times they are marked for transportation. This includes the time they arrive at and depart from the center. Transportation Sign-In/Out Sheet: A separate transportation log will be maintained to record: The time each child leaves the daycare to be transported to school. The time each child is dropped off at the school. The time each child is picked up from school. The time each child returns to the daycare.

An inspection from Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) or Indian Health Services (IHS) is required prior to authorization to operate from Licensing, unless the program only provides limited food service per OAC 340:110-3-299(a).
