Plan to Correct

Our center has removed all foods with active ingredient peanuts in it. We have trained staff to be knowledgeable of labels on food and cautious of foods being brought into the classroom. Staff are trained on multiple avenues to check if a child has an allergy, which includes classroom postings and the ProCare app. Staff are encouraged to communicate with parents if they have concerns or are unsure if a child can have something before it is served. We have frequent refresher conversations on how to handle allergies and any other hazards that may be present in our day to day at our monthly staff meetings.
