Plan to Correct

Staff will remove children from unsafe situations before getting stressed. If something like this happens in the future where a child is wiggling and in danger of falling the staff will ask parents if they use highchairs for feeding. They will then ask for suggestions from the parent and director to help the child use them successfully. Staff understands when stressed and needing a break to ask to trade places with another staff member. Staff was also made aware that their normal speaking volume can be considered loud.

Personnel do not seek or accept parental permission not complying with requirements, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340:110-3-293(a).

Will have staff continue to help children when they go to the bathroom and will change the children's clothes if needed.
