Staff will remove children from unsafe situations before getting stressed. If something like this happens in the future where a child is wiggling and in danger of falling the staff will ask parents if they use highchairs for feeding. They will then ask for suggestions from the parent and director to help the child use them successfully. Staff understands when stressed and needing a break to ask to trade places with another staff member. Staff was also made aware that their normal speaking volume can be considered loud.

Made class list of the children's names and attached the outside bags. The preschool teachers have a lanyard with the class list with attached. The teachers will mark the children that are not in attendance. the teachers will do a child count before they go outside and will keep track of the children that they are assigned to by reviewing their lanyard. The teachers will do another child count before they go back in. The child count will be done by face to name for each child. The teachers are stationed at two different places in the playground so the children can be observed in all areas of the playground. Two additional cameras were placed in the outdoor area. The fence has been repaired by placing lattice from the bottom of the fence to ground level.

340:110-3-287(a) - Supervision. Supervision is the function of observing, overseeing, and guiding a child or group of children, including an awareness of, and responsibility for, the ongoing activity of each child, and being near enough to intervene when needed. The program is required to maintain supervision at all times.
