Program will notify licensing and owner immediately following a child getting injured or needing medical attention.

Program has put up a half wall and door that separates the front door from the hall where rooms and bathrooms are. A dead bolt will be placed on the side of the door closest to the front door. Personnel will ensure the lock is locked at all times. There will be chimes on all classrooms doors that will sound when the door opens. Cameras will be working and more will be added. Whole classroom will leave to go to the bathroom together or will have a person in charge take them and bring the child back to the room. Communication between teachers as to who they have and verifying that's who they have. Checking in and out a child when going to the bathroom. Program will terminate the personnel that were involved. Personnel will be at the front at all times.

Regulation Description

340:110-3-287(a) - Supervision. Supervision is the function of observing, overseeing, and guiding a child or group of children, including an awareness of, and responsibility for, the ongoing activity of each child, and being near enough to intervene when needed. The program is required to maintain supervision at all times.

All teachers and director will complete incident report every time a child is hurt, missing or sick anything to do with a child will be documented. All incident reports will be kept on file.
