Plan to Correct

Effective Immediately: As of 9/21/2022 teacher will no longer be able to bring personal items into the classroom with the exception of their cell phones, and drink in a cup with a lid and straw. Teachers my store jackets or sweaters in their classrooms to keep and use as needed. If you need to store your belongings inside the center, please do so in a safe manner. You have several options for safe storage of your belongings. You may store your belongings in your vehicle, in the office, in the front staff bathroom. These are the areas children have no access to. The front office has video surveillance to better help protect your belongings. As a reminder, Kidlinx is a tobacco free facility. Tobacco products are not allowed inside the facility. This includes: Vapes, Nicotine gum or pouches, or cigarettes. Kidlinx is an alcohol free facility. Kidlinx does not tolerate the use of illegal substances or the abuse of prescription medication. If at any time we feel an employee is incapacitated due to medication, illegal substances or alcohol they will be sent home from the facility immediately. Which will result in an investigation and may lead to immediate termination. Employees who are prescribed medication that needs to be taken during working hours may turn in their medication to the office where it will be kept under lock and key and will be available to the employee as necessary. Over the counter medication may be labeled and stored in the first aid cabinet located inside the staff bathroom. Children do not have access to our staff bathroom or the first aid cabinet and additionally we keep the cabinet locked for safety.
