Ms. Isbell asked the staff to leave at the time of the visit.(9/14/23). Ms. Isbell will ensure that all staff have background checks in process before using them at the program in the future.

A teacher is to be inside the structure at all times to be able to supervise and intervene. We only let one class at a time go on it, so there aren’t very many children in the Kidz Zone at one time.

Ms. Isbell said that all staff and any volunteers will be background checked before they are allowed in a classroom. No staff or volunteer's that aren't background checked will have unsupervised access to children.

Staff was terminated once the director was aware of the staff's actions.

The director sent home all cups with straws in them and asking parents to bring in cups that don't have straws and are easier to clean.
