Plan of Correction for Hall’s Agape Learning Academy: Staff Member Shanda Watts will be completing the training Developmental Needs of Children, the training includes Physical Development, Mental Development, Social & Emotional Development, she will complete Guidance and Discipline training, The training includes Indirect & Direct Guidance, Promoting Positive Behavior, Dealing with Misbehavior and lastly she will complete the training Safe and Sound the class is focused on making child care professionals aware of the importance of health and safety and child abuse prevention.

Plan to Correct

Provider has confirmed the center will not be transporting children until the following conditions have been been met and until licensing has confirmed that all requirements are being met for transportation and the transportation vehicle is in compliance. The provider will retake Safe Kids DHS Training, maintain compliance with state driving and transportation policy, and take a Care Course Class called the need for transportation.

Regulation Description

340:110-3-305(g)(3) - Children remain properly secured in child passenger restraint system, such as a car or booster seat or an individual seat belt complying with applicable state laws, unless the vehicle is exempt, per (5) of this subsection. Children do not share a seat belt.
