Staff member responsible for initiating the altercation was immediately removed from the premises and terminated. That individual is no longer employable with our company and is prohibited from future employment indefinitely. All staff will review the policy for responsible behavior.

The program will be having the Infant 2 teacher retake the safe sleep course. The program is currently looking for a course that is a classroom setting.

The director sat down with the staff from the infant room in the director's office discussing licensing regulation alongside with the company policy's, supervision was increased for the weeks following. The program also had a staff meeting the night of 9/12/2022 and at that point the director pointed out the things that were noticed during the walk-through and the video footage with all employees. The program then proceeded to go over the proper regulations and policy's just in case everyone needed to be reminded of what is the proper way to do things inside their classrooms and provide the best quality care possible for every child they interact with.

340:110-3-289(j)(3) - do not remain for more than 20 minute increments in equipment restricting freedom of movement, such as rest equipment, swings, high chairs, or stationary activity centers, except while eating in high chairs or similar stationary equipment. Children only sleep in appropriate rest equipment, per OAC 340:110-3-296.
