Listed below are the non-compliances OBSERVED during a visit. The regulation, its description, the non-compliance observed according to the regulation and a plan of corrective action are all provided.
Ms. Tittle's policy did not include receiving and releasing children, including methods for caller identification authorizing child pick-up and of an individual who picks up a child; notifying parents when a child does not arrive on his or her own at the facility as scheduled; handling injuries; storing and administering children's medication; field trip notification; and transporting children; and infant safe sleep environment description.
One room used for childcare did not have a smoke detector.
First Aid kit did not have blunt tip scissors or a first aid test or guide.
Any complaint investigation that rises to the level of abuse/neglect is referred to Oklahoma Human Services Child Welfare Services for screening and investigation. All other complaint allegations are investigated by Oklahoma Child Care Services. Only substantiated complaints are available for viewing online.
