Plan to Correct

Child Care Services received the following plan of correction: I plan to hire a qualified substitute as a caregiver to provide care for when I need to be away. Until I have a qualified substitute hired, I will close if I have to be somewhere.

Regulation Description

340:110-3-85(a)(5) - Assistant and substitute caregivers. When the primary caregiver employs an individual to assist with or to provide children's care and supervision in the primary caregiver's absence, the primary caregiver ensures the assistant or substitute caregiver is qualified, understands and complies with requirements, and has current cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification documentation, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340:110-3-85(h).

Plan to Correct

Child Care Services received the following plan of correction: I plan to update my parent handbook/ program policy to include the statement " I reserve the right to terminate care effective immediately without providing a reason" . I plan to follow my updated handbook/policy. I plan to have all my parents sign updated contracts and issue a copy of the updated handbook/ program policy to each of my parents along with a paper signed and dated of when they received their copy of the updated handbook/ program policy. The paper indicating them receiving the updated handbook/ program policy will remain in the child's individual file.

340:110-3-89.1(a) - Policy. The caregiver provides written business policy to parents at least including:
