Non Compliance Observed Workers arrived at 9:56am to conduct a full monitoring visit, staff did not allow licensing in until 10:20am. Workers had contacted director and she said she was on a field trip at the gathering place with children, she said the children at the center did not have permission slips and that Kiki was at the center. But when owner/director showed up she had no children and said Kiki was at therapy and she had forgotten. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Plan to Correct Director will make sure that she is completely honest and forthcoming with licensing at all times. Non Compliance Observed Personnel left in charge of the program is 20 years old. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Plan to Correct Corrected during visit. Director arrived at the program. Director will make sure that the staff in charge is at least 21 years of age. Regulation Description are at least 21 years of age; and Plan to Correct Date 2024-07-03
Supervision
Non Compliance Observed When workers arrived staff answered the front door with 2 children, 5 children were left alone in their classroom while the staff opened the door. Workers also observed a 2 year old child completely alone coming from the kitchen of the facility. Workers walked thru looking to see if staff was with him but he was completely alone. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Plan to Correct Corrected during visit, Staff and children went back to their classrooms, director will have staff start a child tracker to help monitor supervision. Director will ensure staff are supervising children at all times. Regulation Description Supervision. Supervision is the function of observing, overseeing, and guiding a child or group of children, including an awareness of, and responsibility for, the ongoing activity of each child, and being near enough to intervene when needed.
