This was corrected during the visit when another teacher arrived at the program and they divided the children by age for correct ratios. Program will ensure that if they are having staffing issues or an emergency, that they will not let children stay when they reach the maximum ratio for the number of qualified staff members they have on site.

Ratios are the number of teaching personnel required to be physically present with a child or group of children, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340 Appendix GG - Ratios and Group Sizes. Only teaching personnel count in ratios, unless requirements specifically state otherwise. The program is required to maintain ratios at all times.

This was corrected during the monitoring visit when a second teacher arrived and they divided the children by age and were able to ensure all children were being supervised. The teachers were make sure they are able to safely supervise the correct number of children per the child/staff ratios and turn children away that would push them over the child/staff ratio limits.
