Non Compliance Observed
In one classroom, there was 13 total children who were 1 and 2. There were 5 one year olds and 8 two year olds. The classroom was not able to be reverted back to one year olds as it would have put the classroom over group size. There were one too many one year olds in the classroom, which put the classroom out of ratio.
Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance
No
Plan to Correct
The children all went outside after rest time and when they came back in, some of the children had gone home and the classroom no longer had the same ratio. The program will ensure the group size in the one and two year old room will stay at or under 12 due to the amount of one year olds in the room in order to ensure the classroom does not go over group size.
Regulation Description
Ratios. Ratios are the number of teaching personnel required to be physically present with a child or group of children, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340 Appendix GG - Ratios and Group Sizes. Only teaching personnel count in ratios, unless requirements specifically state otherwise. The program is required to maintain ratios at all times.

Exits, doors, windows, and screensNon-Compliant
Non Compliance Observed
The front door of the program was locked upon arrival and the door does not have a single motion unlock, unlatch feature.
Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance
No
Plan to Correct
This was corrected when the front door was unlocked during the visit. The program will research a different locking device for the door that would provide the single motion unlock, unlatch feature. The program will ensure the front door remains unlocked and will make sure if a lock is put on the door to keep the door locked during program hours while children are in care, it will meet requirements.
Regulation Description
unlock, unlatch, and open with a single motion.
