During the walk through in the 3 year and older classroom there was one teaching personnel without a 'completed' background check which resulted in the classroom being out of ratio. In the 1 year old classroom, there were 10 children and 2 staff and one of those staff did not have 'completed' background checks which made the classroom out of ratio.

The employee's who didn't have 'completed' or 'in process' results submitted another BIDS request form and Licensing verified they were showing 'in process' during the v isit and could count in ratio. Ms. McColley will make sure anyone counting in ratio will be 'in process' or have 'completed' results.
Regulation Description
Ratios. Ratios are the number of teaching personnel required to be physically present with a child or group of children, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340 Appendix GG - Ratios and Group Sizes. Only teaching personnel count in ratios, unless requirements specifically state otherwise. The program is required to maintain ratios at all times.
