Program Director or Staff in charge will check the Early Head Start class more frequently. Non Compliance Observed Program is purchasing meals for children from a Café in Arkansas. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Plan to Correct Child Care Licensing Supervisor, Rachel Rice contacted & spoke with SCUS Head Start, Administration, Joanna Bunch. Licensing Supervisor explained the situation & asked what the Program's plan was for feeding the children on Monday as the current food source was against Licensing Requirements. Ms. Bunch reported the Program would not open on Monday for the children until a written plan approved by Child Care Licensing was developed. Regulation Description Food source. Hand washing facilities
Non Compliance Observed All three the handwashing sinks in the bathroom used by the children do not have running hot water Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Plan to Correct Program Director will contact Carl Albert State College's Maintenance Dept. to request the sinks be repaired. Program Director will review the Physical Environment Checklist at least once a month & report any repairs or maintenance to the required department. Non Compliance Observed Impact material is less than six inches under the slide. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Plan to Correct Staff will try to rake impact material from areas it's not required to the slide. If this does not equal 6 inches, Program Director will contact Save the Children to request additional impact material. Program Director will review the Physical Environment Checklist at least once a month & report any repairs or needed maintenance to the required department.
