Non Compliance Observed One classroom was over ratio today - The room had three infants, two one year old's, and one two year old with one teacher. The mixed-age group only allows this room to have six children to one teacher with no more than two infants in care. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Numerous: No Repeated: No Serious Non Compliance: Yes Plan to Correct The director arrived shortly after licensing and corrected the ratio for the classroom by taking one of the infants. Moving forward, the director will ensure classrooms meet ratio requirements including monitoring how many infants one teacher can has on their own. Regulation Description Groups and group sizes. Groups are determined by the number of children cared for by one or more teaching personnel. There is only one group of children per classroom or other area, and the maximum group size is not exceeded, per OAC 340 Appendix GG – Ratios and Group Sizes, unless an exception applies, per (2) of this subsection.
