Non Compliance Observed Upon arrival for the child care program visit, workers observed an infant asleep in the swing. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Plan to Correct Teacher was informed immediately. Teacher moved the sleeping infant from the swing to the crib. Discussed appropriate safe sleep with the director. Director says she will review safe sleep measures with the teacher. Regulation Description When an infant falls asleep in equipment other than appropriate rest equipment, the infant is immediately moved to appropriate rest equipment. Plan to Correct Date 2024-08-19

Director immediately removed toys from crib. Discussed appropriate safe sleep with the director. Director says she will review safe sleep measures with the teacher. Regulation Description Soft products, such as quilts, comforters, sheepskins, pillows, stuffed toys, and bumper pads are prohibited inside and on the side of infant rest equipment.
