Staff will go today 2-15-23 or 2-16-24 to have fingerprints submitted under childcare. Once the fingerprints show they are in process they will be allowed to help in the classroom with the lead teacher who has completed background checks. The school and Big 5 understand that no person is to be allowed into a classroom without a completed background check for Child Care and will not allow this to happen again. The school and Head Start understand that they may have to close the classroom until fingerprints come back complete if they do not have the staff with completed background checks. Director will double check with Head Start QE to see if fingerprints have been submitted and are in process and will communicate with the school to make sure all fingerprint are for child care.
