Non Compliance Observed One staff member observed caring for an infant. This staff member took an unapproved safe sleep course. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance Yes Plan to Correct This was corrected during the visit when the staff member was removed from the classroom with infants. Director is going to have staff member take an approved safe sleep course today. Director will make sure any new staff members will be enrolled in a formal, approved safe sleep course. CPR and first aid
Non Compliance Observed No current CPR/First Aid for two staff members. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Plan to Correct Director has staff members enrolled in a CPR course on February 23, 2024. Director will monitor CPR trainings due dates to make sure staff members CPR does not expire. Regulation Description CPR and first aid. Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certifications are age-appropriate for the children's ages accepted into care and are from approved sources listed on the OPDR website.
