Ms. Lambert is going to go through all of the children's records to ensure they are not missing compliance notification forms or have outdated forms. Ms. Lambert will have the parents file out and sign the forms upon child pick up or drop off. In the future, Ms. Lambert will have the compliance file notification from in the enrollment packet. Ms. Lambert will have all parents fill out new compliance file notification forms annually in October.

During the visit, Ms. Lambert called a CPR First Aid provider and left a voicemail. Ms. Lambert will look for CPR First Aid classes today and ensure the staff member is enrolled. The staff member will complete the training. In the future, all staff will complete CPR First Aid at the same time semi-annually. For staff who are hired after the all staff CPR First Aid training date, Ms. Lambert will keep an employee checklist to ensure CPR First Aid is completed within three months of their employment.

Areas of Improvement and corrections of non-compliance from previous visit:

  • Leadership is diligently working to organize the center and modernize the equipment. It is noticeable that Ms. Lambert is a passionate Director and is eager to create a safe and welcoming environment for the children in her care. Not only does Ms. Lambert care about the children in her care, she also cares about her staff's well-being.
