Non Compliance Observed Licensing observed more than seven children were in the care of two caregivers at the program there for making the family child care home over on the number of children in care. Background investigation of required individuals
Non Compliance Observed Restricted individual was working at the program prior to having a complete waiver. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Numerous: No Repeated: No Serious Non Compliance: No Plan to Correct Ms. Stennis stated no one outright stated the restricted individual could not be at the program at all. Ms. Stennis stated the individual now has an approved criminal restriction waiver and will note for future reference not to have anyone present before a restriction waiver is approved by Licensing. Ms. Stennis stated she understands and agrees all licensing requirements must be met at all times. Smoke detectors
Non Compliance Observed The room where children were resting in for naptime did not have a smoke detector when Licensing was doing a walkthrough. Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance No Numerous: No Repeated: No Serious Non Compliance: No Plan to Correct Provider installed a smoke detector immediately after Licensing made them aware. Ms. Stennis stated they will install smoke detectors in every room just to prevent this from happening in the future. The primary caregiver stated she understands and agrees all licensing requirements must be met. Regulation Description Any room used for children's playing or sleeping, except the kitchen, has a smoke detector. Plan to Correct Date 2024-01-24
