Provider submitted a new background request while Licensing was still on-site. Licensing Supervisor contacted OBICC while on-site & verified the staff member was now showing as "In Process" for the Program. Provider will make sure to print off a background request, including the request ID to verify it was submitted.
Regulation Description
Criminal history investigation verification. The family child care owner or primary caregiver is responsible for submitting to OKDHS Office of Background Investigations (OBI), criminal history investigations and obtaining dispositions on any charges shown on the report lacking dispositions.

This was corrected during the monitoring visit when staff moved the child to appropriate rest equipment. Provider will rock the babies to sleep so they do not fall asleep in inappropriate rest equipment.

This was corrected during the monitoring visit when the two older children left while Licensing was still on-site, which left 11 children in care. Provider will not allow employee's children to come, even if sick. She will send children home if she is short-staffed.

Capacity. Large family child care homes are required to meet the rules found in OAC 340:110-3-84(a), and the total number of children in care in a large family child care home is limited to 12.
