Licensing documented a non-compliance for caregiver requirements. Ms. Shirley still does not have a current OPDL 1 or higher certificate. As of today, it appears only 3 clock hours of training has been completed. Licensing stated she has to get 17 more hours of training since Ms. Shirley participates in Stars. Licensing provided statewide training calendar for in person training available that Ms. Shirley could attend. Licensing provided a paper application for PDL renewal. Licensing provided an EPDP. Ms. Shirley stated she is enrolled in a class for autism currently. Licensing asked if there was anything Licensing can do to help. Ms. Shirley stated no that the training resource given has really helped to find classes she can take. Licensing offered to call the provider to check on progress which the program agreed to. Ms. Shirley understands and agrees all licensing requirements must be met at all times.

Primary caregivers licensed or employed before June 1, 2022. Primary caregivers obtain a current Level 1 or higher Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder (OPDL) certificate, per OAC 340 Appendix FF – Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder, by June 1, 2023.
