Non Compliance Observed Licensing observed children in care with assistant that is 17 years of age. Licensing arrived to conduct a follow-up permit visit and the caregiver was not present in the home. There were three children in care with the caregiver's assistant and grandson. Children will not be left alone with any individuals under the age of 18. Regulation Description Assistant caregiver. When an assistant caregiver is employed to meet the required staff to child ratio, the assistant caregiver is a responsible, mature, and healthy individual at least 16 years of age.
