Provider was transporting children and two children were buckled up using the same seat belt. One of those children was 4 yrs. old and was not in a booster seat.
Numerous, Repeated, and/or Serious Non Compliance
Yes
Plan to Correct
Provider will always ensure any children she transports will have the proper restraint and will each have their own seat belt. If parent has to drop off while provider is not at home and she doesn't have enough spots in her vehicle, provider will tell parent they will have to wait until she is home for the parent to drop off child.
Regulation Description
Passenger restraints and seating. Children remain properly secured in a child passenger restraint system, such as car or booster seat or individual seat belt, per Section 11-1112 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes (47 O.S. § 11-1112). Children do not share a seat belt.
